Hey everyone!

Our Design-A-Tshirt Contest is back again! We would like to thank everyone who submitted designs for last years contest.

Congratulations to Simar Kaur,  Issha Surdhar,  Sharan Grewal , Satbir Sekhon  and Harjit Mudhar  on winning the Design-A-Tshirt 2010 contest. Their designs were sold throughout the year and they can be seen here http://www.sikhyc.com/node/70 .

To mark the beginning of this year, SYC would like to invite everyone to submit a design for the 2011 Sikh Youth Calgary T Shirts. We challenge our youth to come up with new and tasteful designs which can be presented through photoshop, sketches or drawings. The designs must represent a positive and powerful message to the community.

Each design last year was unique and portrayed different aspects of spirituality. The theme for 2011 is: conscious living, balance of mind body and soul, and unity. The deadline is February 14, 2011.

Two categories: DESIGNS and SLOGANS

The top few designs and slogans will be chosen. The quotes can be something you have read or even something that you yourself have made-up, just keep in mind that they are being judged so find the most inspirational, touching piece of writing you can get your hands on! Because we have two categories, there is a lot potential for numerous winners.

Please contact Jasmeet Nijjer at 403-973-1630 or JP Chahal at 403-618-5757 for any questions.

Good Luck!
